Kaushik Prasad was appointed General Manager, Consumer Marketing effective September 2015 and he is based out of the Ford India office in Gurgaon.
Responsible for showcasing Ford’s enterprise-wide efforts to consumers, Kaushik has been championing the company’s brand transformation efforts, including brand strategy and positioning, research, target segmentation and marketing communications.
Kaushik has over 20 years of experience in building brands, executing flawless product launch(es) and running winning sales operations. Renowned for delivering innovative marketing solutions like the innovative first-of-its kind Fiesta Café’ or the Ford Midnight Sale.
Combining a strategic mindset and strong analytic skills, Kaushik, in over ten years with Ford India, has held several responsibilities across sales, marketing and strategy with key ones being the Sales lead for Eastern Region and Lead for Sales Planning and programming. Before joining Ford, Kaushik has worked with Fiat India Automobiles and Mahindra & Mahindra in the product management and brand team respectively.
A Graduate in Automobile Engineering and Master in Management Studies, Kaushik is a Certified Trainer for Ford's Driving Skills for Life program as well and takes the time out to teach young drivers the secrets of Safe, Economical and Ecofriendly driving.
