Manish Vij

Manish is a distinguished serial entrepreneur in the internet and digital industry, with a journey that began in 1999. As Managing Partner of Smile Group, he has been instrumental in establishing successful ventures in digital media, eCommerce, and gaming.

His keen business acumen led to founding India’s leading digital media agency – Quasar, pioneering adtech company – SVG Media, and eCommerce business – Letsbuy.com. These enterprises have partnered with global giants like WPP, DentsuAegis, Flipkart (A Walmart Co), and attracted venture capital from firms like Tiger Capital, Matrix Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners etc. Additionally, his companies have collaborated with major platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, and Pinterest.

As one of India’s leading digital venture builders, Manish’s indelible contributions continue to fuel the industry’s growth. He is also revered as an early-stage investor, backing a distinguished portfolio of venture-built companies that includes esteemed names like Zupee, a prominent gaming company in India, Tyroo, one of Asia’s leading digital media companies, Otipy, a prominent social commerce business in India, among others.

Outside of work, Manish embraces adventure, holding a Limca book of record for driving on Icelandic glaciers. Recently, his wanderlust took him to Antarctica, reflecting his passion for exploration.

Wesley ter Haar is the Co-Founder of Media.Monks, a digital-first marketing and advertising services company that connects content, data, digital media and technology services across one global team built from the bottom up. He sits on the boards of SoDA (The Digital Society) The One Club and S4Capital. Tom Dover

Tom Dover leads Microsoft Advertising Parter Sales Team in Japan, Australia, India, Southeast Asia and China (JAPAC). As part of his responsibilities, Dover is charged with deepening strategic partnerships with the region’s largest publishers & broadcasters.

Prior to Xandr being acquired by Microsoft, Tom spent eight years across both buy and sellside of the business, including his role as Director of Video Marketplace Development, APAC; Strategic Account Manager; and leading buy-side efforts in Australia and New Zealand.

Dover is a regular thought leader featured in trade publications and has offered his expertise on OTT and CTV in major industry events, including AVIA, IAB and Future of TV.

Tom Fishburne

Tom Fishburne started drawing cartoons on the backs of business cases as a Harvard Business School student.

From an emailed cartoon to coworkers in 2002, Tom’s Marketoonist series has grown by word of mouth to reach half a million readers a week and his cartoons have been featured by the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, and The New York Times. His cartoons have twice appeared on billboard ads in Times Square and helped win a Guinness World Record.

Tom is the founder of Marketoonist, a marketing agency focused on the unique medium of cartoons. Since 2010, they’ve developed marketing and internal communication campaigns for more than 200 businesses such as Google, IBM, LinkedIn, and Adobe.

Tom draws (literally and figuratively) from two decades in the marketing trenches in the US and Europe. He was Interim Chief Marketing Officer at HotelTonight, Marketing Vice President at Method Products, and worked in brand management for Nestle and General Mills. Tom developed web sites for interactive agency iXL and started his marketing career selling advertising for the first English-language magazine in Prague.

Tom is the author of “Your Ad Ignored Here: Cartoons from 15 Years of Marketing, Business, and Doodling in Meetings.” He also illustrated 3 business books with Deloitte: “Provoke” (Wall Street Journal Bestseller), “Detonate” (National Bestseller), and “Work
Disrupted.”

Tom was Cartoonist-in-Residence and lecturer for the Stanford GSB course on humor in business and is a repeat lecturer on humor at Harvard Business School. Tom spoke at the TED headquarters in New York on “The Power of Laughing at Ourselves at Work.”
