Amit Adarkar is the CEO of Ipsos in India. His work experience spans almost 3 decades in market research and the insights industry, and he’s worked across market research agencies and on the client side. He’s previously held senior level positions as the CEO of MarketProbe, MD of MarketGate Dimensions and VP, Nielsen (BASES). Further, he is credited with handling regional (Asia Pacific) relationships with MNC Clients and handled large turnkey projects.
Ipsos India has grown phenomenally under his leadership and is now among the top five fastest growing markets for Ipsos globally. As an administrator too he is highly revered by the employees and Ipsos India has received high employee satisfaction scores. Adarkar has a post graduation degree in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a B.Tech degree from IIT, Bombay. He has written a number of thought pieces and is extensively quoted in television and print media for his insights and perspectives. In his spare time, he likes to paint (with acrylics) and also strum the guitar.
