Mr. Sandeep Singh is a well-rounded marketing professional, with more than a decade of strong entrepreneurial experience & a deep understanding of emerging media, retail & technology convergence. He has successfully built & led organizations in the Digital Marketing & E-Commerce domains.
On completing his MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management( Pune), Sandeep founded Yankeedelhi.com 1999. In 2004, he joined the Media Sales Team at rediff.com. This phase of his career gave him insight into the media landscape in the country as well as the emerging trends in the fast growing digital media segment.
In 2005, true to his entreprenerial spirit, Sandeep co founded Quasar – a full service digital marketing services company providing end to end solution on digital marketing to prestigious clients like Microsoft, Eureka Forbes, Skoda, Sharekhan, Tata Aig, General Motors, Tata Indicom, Channel [V], Aviva Life Insurance, Monster.com, Makemytrip.com, Kotak Group amongst others. Sandeep was at Business Head for Brand & Media Solutions at Quasar. The company was later acquired by WPP.
In 2011, Sandeep co-founded the digital native apparel brand FREECULTR. The brand, which started by selling only through online channels and later diversified into an Omni Channel presence with physical stores, pioneered the integrated retail format under Sandeep’s leadership. The proprietary retail application developed for enabling virtual inventory at store – Tapshop won FREECULTR the coveted Economic Times Store Concept of the year award in 2014.
In 2016, Sandeep joined BIRA 91 as Director - Marketing & Alternate Channels. Sandeep’s deep understanding of building new economy brands & businesses using a digital first approach to marketing & distribution has been a great asset to the team at BIRA 91.
Venturing from digital to modern retail Sandeep was recently awarded as one of the Top 50 most talented retail professionals of India by Asia Retail Congress.
