Michael Dobell

Michael Dobell is a co-founder and EVP for Innovation at Media.Monks. His focus is on expanding the agency’s digital service offerings and expressing it to customers and the market. Previously Michael co-led digital design agency Jam3’s successful merger with Media.Monks. Michael is the vice chair of the Society of Digital Agencies (SoDA), and Strategy Director at the Squamish Windsports Society.

Over the past decade Michael’s teams have won many industry awards and accolades, including the very first Cannes Cyber Lion, The One Show, D&AD, and over 100 Favorite Website Awards. His writing work and interviews have appeared in The Globe and Mail, Creativity, Applied Arts, Fast Company, Communication Arts, as well as Forester, who selected Jam3 as 2021’s ‘North American Digital innovation Agency of the Year’. When he’s not busy making things happen at Media.Monks, Michael is in search of a great espresso and a decent wave or two.

Mike was born in Canada, has lived in Washington, California, British Columbia, Japan and Toronto (in that order) he now lives on the traditional and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation along with his family. He grew up on omni magazine, nat geo, and Blue Peter; but really he likes to say he’s from the internet.

Jagadeesh G

Jai is currently the business head for Alexa Monetization in India. He has been with Amazon for 9.5 years with roles spanning across Alexa, Amazon Pay & Retail. Within Alexa, he has owned & managed multiple key businesses across Music, Skills, Alexa Voice Services, Developer Marketing etc. During his Pay stint, he was part of the launch team for Amazon Pay in India and led multiple new initiatives & IN first launches, handling a team of Account Managers & Sales. Before Amazon, Jai has worked in TCS & Cognizant in their client facing consulting business & leading functional teams.

Jai is a follower of new technology and believes AI can make lives better and richer. Outside of work, he loves playing multiple sports and is an avid traveler.

Gunjan Shah

Gunjan is an accomplished leader who has worked across geographies in varied industries – paints, telecom & foods. Prior to Bata India Limited he worked as the Chief Commercial Officer of Britannia Industries.

In his professional journey he has worked across several functions encompassing sales, marketing and supply chain and has been involved in both turnarounds and growth journeys. He has also led Britannia’s International Business and architected one of its most
impactful strategy and business transformations.

He holds a Bachelor of Technology (Computers) from VJTI , Mumbai. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Technology , Kolkata.

Neetan Chopra

Neetan Chopra is the Chief Digital and Information Officer at IndiGo, India’s largest passenger airline. He is responsible for driving digital, analytics and technology outcomes for the airline, as well as create new digital business models and revenue streams. Previously he held similar technology and digital roles at Dubai Holding and Emirates Airlines. Neetan began his career as a consultant at Accenture.

Neetan is a passionate advocate of ‘being digital’ as opposed to just ‘doing digital’ and helping enterprises compete in the digital era. He is on the board of multiple technology start-ups and VCs, helping bring digital advisory to entrepreneurship.

He is a TEDx speaker and frequently speaks on topics such as digital transformation, emerging business models and change management. Neetan has been recognized by Silicon Valley’s Constellation Research into BT150 (Business Transformation 150), which is a global elite list of top executives leading innovative business transformation efforts.

Neetan has a quest for continuous learning, holds two Master’s degrees (MBA, MCA) and has studied in premium global institutions such as London Business School UK, St. Gallen Switzerland, Bradford UK, NIT Trichy India, and Delhi University India.
