Dr. Kushal Sanghvi

Kushal Sanghvi is every bit the Media Evangelist. A penchant for advertising, media and communications drove him to this industry where he has thrived since the last 22 years.

A large part of his innings has been with media companies and digital/ tech. He sees New Media as an integral part of brand expansion. Globally and across Asia his roles with iconic companies such as Reliance Group, Fremantle Media, Havas Media, The Times of India Group has led to unparalleled intelligence in Media thereby creating marketing success stories for those brands and has been pivotal to scale business and operations for those companies. Someone who has been part of various start up teams and then gone ahead to make them successful ventures in terms of people, it’s clients, defining processes and of course scaling and running those businesses.

At his capacity as Managing Director, South Asia at Havas Digital which he founded in India and went ahead to have teams across the region, he also led the company for its social media across a global committee that was headquartered at Paris and its earliest times also started out Mobext the mobile advertising solutions agency under Havas too.

He has essayed roles in Print, Television, OOH, Content and the invention of interactive television in India for the pioneering show ‘Indian Idol’ for Sony Television in the country. Having worked with over 400 brands in his career till now he always willing to learn more and that’s what keeps him going daily. Has also been involved with the Govt of India too and helped them in various facets of marketing, brand and technology.

Being a creative thinker with a passion for creating products, content, platforms and solutions his most poignant creation being the inception of Rediff.com as a founder member, a tipping point in his career graph.

In his role at the Reliance ADA Group he leads all digital transformation across all Reliance group companies working closely with the CXO’s and has incorporated a digital marketing services company for the Group.

An MBA from NMIMS, he loves playing mentor and terms people management as a stepping stone to achieve targets and has been an active guest lecturer in leading institutes across India: the various IIM’s, IIT’s, NMIMS, SP Jain, JBIMS, ISME, MET, Rizvi, Wellingkar, MICA, ISB, Indira Institute, Somaiya, Nirma Institute, XLRI, FMS, Symbiosis to name a few. He has done his doctorate in consumer behaviour with regards to the impact of the various roles of media and communication triggers. He has also been part of platforms like Teach for India and in his spare time also teaches at various NGO’s, slums and villages across the country as he believes that education is a two way process and a country like India that has its largest population in its youth and also in smaller cities needs to all be trained and envisioned for a better India.

He is receipent of over 50 awards locally and internationally in the domain of advertising, marketing, media, content, digital marketing and technology and has been voted by various tabloids, publications, media like Exchange4media, Afaqs, Campaign, World Brand Congress as being among the top 10 digital marketers in the country for many years now. Afaqs has featured him as among the top 50 newsmakers in media in 2014 and 2015.

Kushal is a regular speaker at various media and marketing events and platforms such as FICCI, IAMAI, Ad Club, Afaqs, E4M,TFMA, NASSCOM, MIPCOM, Campaign, Adobe, ICOM Global, CII in India and globally to name a few where he loves to champion the cause of media and garner new talent into this industry. Recently in 2014 was one of the only 2 Indians to speak at Websummit, Ireland which is the largest digital marketing festivals in the world that attracts over 70,000 people. Has also spoken regularly at the largest mobile marketing platform at World Mobile Congress at Barcelona in 2014, 2015, and 2016 which has over 1,00,000 people attend in and he was one of the few Indian’s to speak there. He has been part of the jury for various marketing, media, content, television, advertising awards in the last over 8 years. He is also on the board of some leading international marketing and media associations like CEBIT, TFMA, Ad Tech, ICOM Global, GIIFFA, DMAI to name a few. He has also been involved in mentoring various start-ups especially in the mobile, ad-tech, data- analytics, social-media, e-commerce, gaming, media space and has also invested into some of the same ventures too.

In his spare time Kushal loves to read, write, paint and sculpt, dabble in cooking, watch movies, travel and explore the world, meet new people and explore new cultures, hike, listen to all sorts of world and Indian music. He loves all that’s tech and is often always the first to try new technology, gadgets and more. He is a car freak and loves to drive, often dabbles in a game of badminton and tries to keep fit with being in nature and doing his walks or a good swim.

Sumeet Singh

Sumeet Singh is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Info Edge, a seasoned marketing leader with over two decades of experience in brand building, digital marketing, and data-driven strategies.

As a key member of Info Edge’s executive leadership team, she oversees marketing across flagship businesses like Naukri, 99acres, Jeevansathi, and Shiksha. Her role encompasses branding, martech, strategic insights, digital marketing strategies and corporate communication.

Her strategic vision, innovative marketing approach, and commitment to fostering a collaborative work culture make her a pivotal figure in the industry.

She is also a pioneer in performance marketing and predictive analytics, having embraced data-led marketing as early as 2005. Under her leadership, Info Edge has seen some of India’s most iconic campaigns, including the unforgettable Hari Sadu ad to the more recent Fan-in-Chief for Naukri – setting an incomparable benchmark in employer branding.

Beyond her corporate achievements, Sumeet is a recognized thought leader at the intersection of marketing and technology, frequently featured among India’s most influential marketing professionals. Recently, she was honored by IMPACT’s Top 50 Most Influential Women, awarded the Storyboard18 Visionaries honor, and named as one of BusinessWorld Marketing World’s Most Influential Women of 2025.

She also keenly mentors and guides women entrepreneurs and professionals, helping them navigate leadership and growth challenges. Outside of work, she is a mother of two and enjoys traveling, cooking, music, and spending time with her pets.

ARCHANA AGGARWAL

Archana has 18+ years of experience in the media industry. She has worked across multiple brands at both media agencies and advertiser. Her last assignment was Country Media Manager, P&G where she spent 8+ years and has now been with Airtel for last 2 years as VP, Brand. She was instrumental in P&G winning their first Cannes in India in 2006 post which they won many prestigious international awards for the Gillette Shave India Movement. She also led media for the high decibel launch of 4G.

KARTHIK NAGARAJAN

Prior to this, he set up the social media practice for GroupM India and also led the digital insights agenda.

Before joining GroupM, Karthik was the Country Head for Nielsen’s online division and also for NM Incite – the joint venture between Nielsen and McKinsey.

Karthik is a visiting faculty in many prestigious B-schools across India and a board member at I-COM (The premier global forum for marketing data & measurement).

When he is not on his day job, he is a screenwriter and host of “The Filter Koffee podcast”.

JAMIE JOUNING

Jamie Jouning is Global Head of Advertising at The Economist, and holds a seniorleadership position within the B2B organisation. He is responsible for driving the commercial strategy where it pertains to advertising. Working closely with editorial, sales and product teams to ensure that The Economist delivers a best in class advertising proposition for clients and advertising agencies alike. Prior to that, Jouning was Global Chief Revenue & Country Manager UK of Italian owned digital pure play, Freeda Media. Responsible for driving revenue growth across both the media and nascent technology/marketing consultancy product offering.

Jouning spent the majority of his media career at Condé Nast, rising to Global Chief Client Officer. He built from scratch and rapidly expanded a central global commercial function, Global Commercial Partnerships, generating revenues through a wide range of business initiatives across the 32 markets which comprise Condé Nast, including advertising partnerships, sponsorships, events, video, branded content and programmatic sales. He was also responsible for the strategic management of clearly defined set of global key accounts, a collection of clients that comprised +30% of all global advertising revenue. Prior to the integration of Condé Nast US and Condé Nast International, Jouning was the Chief Revenue Officer at CNI, a position he held for 4 years.

He joined CNI from Condé Nast UK where he spent 3 years as Publishing Director of Glamour, helping to reimagine the 15-year old title with a new format and a strategic repositioning. He also enjoyed 4 years as Digital Director of Condé Nast UK, overseeing all aspects of the digital business. Prior to successfully launching WIRED as Publisher in March 2009, Jouning was Associate Publisher of GQ and GQ STYLE, the dominant quality men’s magazines. He has also been Promotions Director of GQ and a Sponsorship Manager at Sky TV and has 30 years publishing/media experience.

NALIN MEHTA

Nalin Mehta is Managing Editor, Moneycontrol, Chief AI Officer – Editorial Operations, Network18 and Non-Resident Senior Fellow, Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. He is an award-winning Indian journalist, political scientist and author who has held senior leadership positions in major media companies and educational institutions; served as an international civil servant with the UN and the Global Fund in Geneva, Switzerland; taught and held research positions at universities and institutions in Australia (La Trobe University, ANU), Singapore (NUS), Switzerland (International Olympic Museum) and India (Shiv Nadar University, IIM Bangalore).

Most recently, he has been Dean and Professor at School of Modern Media, UPES University. He has previously been Group Consulting Editor, Network18; Executive Editor, The Times of India-Online, Managing Editor, India Today (TV channel) and Consulting Editor, The Times of India.

Mehta is the author of several best-selling and critically acclaimed books across three domains: politics, tech and social history. Mehta is a DFID-Commonwealth scholar with a Ph.D in Political Science from Trobe University, Melbourne; M.A. International Relations from University of East Anglia, UK; and B.A. Journalism (Honours) from University of Delhi.

Taranjeet Kaur

Taranjeet Kaur is the Head of Media & Digital Marketing, Brand PR for TCPL India.

With more than 20 years of rich media experience across different agencies and corporates like Nielsen, RKS BBDO, OMD, GSK, Reckitt Benckiser, Piramal Healthcare. She has handled more than 40 brands in her career & worked on brands in India & Internationally.

A post graduate from SIMC, Pune, she was the winner of India’s most Influential Digital leaders in 2024, Digital Power 100 list 2020 & Cannes Media Lions 2008. She is part of the ISA & BARC tech committee ,MMA AI committee in India. She is an eminent speaker on Tech and Digital in renowned forums & a Jury member to many prestigious events.

In her career, she has conceptualized various path breaking initiatives, which have raised the bar for the industry at large. Few of them are: 1. Introduction of skip button of 5sec in Google -for Horlicks ad., which is now a media serving option in itself. 2. Led India’s most change making purpose led campaigns like Banega Swach, Harpic mission paani, Jaago Re-Is baar bado ke liye-Tata Tea, which brought real change in lives 3. Built tech stack for multiple corporates.

In her current role, she has led the usage of AI in digital marketing in various campaigns, which have set the benchmark for the industry.
