Raj Nayak

A well-known name in the Indian Media & entertainment Industry, Raj Nayak is visionary leader, media maverick, growth spinner, trendsetter and a motivational powerhouse.

In his illustrious career spanning over three decades, he has led some of the largest media conglomerates in the country. Raj started his career with Tata Economic Consultancy and worked at various news publications before joining STAR TV as its founding member in 1992. Having started as an Area Sales Manager, he spent 10 years at STAR TV and grew into grow into the role of Executive Vice President & was also a part of the Managing Committee. He then moved on to launch the NDTV Media Pvt Ltd as its Chief Executive redefining how news was consumed in the country. Before setting up House of Cheer, he was the Chief Operating Officer – Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, where he steered the company to great heights.

His unique prowess to pioneer new concepts and mentor people, make him one of the most respected professionals in the industry. An advocate of happiness, Raj derives his energy from people across all walks of life and believes in the strength of diversity.

Raj has won many awards & accolades. He was awarded the Media Person of the Year 2016 at the IAA leadership Awards, by the International Advertising Association India Chapter and was awarded the first “Influencer of the Year Award” the same year by Exchange for Media. In 2018 he received the ‘Global Champion Award’ at The International Advertising Association at Bucharest. The Society Achiever of the Year award for his contribution to Media & Branding. The Humanitarian Award by Amity International for his contribution towards social issues. Giant International Award for his contribution to the Entertainment Industry. He has been recently inducted into the International Advertising Agencies – The IAA HALL OF FAME.

Raj has been an active participant of many industry bodies. He was the President of the Advertising Club, The International Advertising Association India. He has served on the board of Media Research Users Council (MRUC) & The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF).

The Economic Times named him the second most engaging CEO on social media. Apart from driving such an enormous business, this chief is passionate about food, travel & reading. Tejinder Gill

Tejinder (Tej) is General Manager of The Trade Desk, India. He’s responsible for leading the business growth strategy, executing company’s vision and long term goals and leading the product development strategy in India. Tej is also the key strategic driver spearheading the expansion of programmatic landscape across digital, audio, video and connected TV for The Trade Desk.

Tej has more than 17 years of experience in general management and business leadership in the digital advertising industry. During that time, he built large consumer tech global brands in emerging markets like India. He’s passionate about building businesses from the ground up. That means cultivating an inspirational culture, building a high performing team and delighting customers with innovative solutions that solve meaningful problems.

Having started his digital journey in 2008 with Yahoo, Tejinder was later a part of LinkedIn’s core leadership team for six years and of Truecaller’s Executive Management team for nearly five years. He holds a degree from Times School of Marketing, Mumbai, with specialization in Sales. He also has a M.Sc. in Operational Research from Delhi University and a B.Sc. in Mathematics (Honours).
